Chris Waldron is Managing Director of the LCF Rothschild Group in the Channel Islands. A graduate of London and Cranfield universities, he has a wide experience of investment management for institutional and private clients. He is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute and has been with the Group since 1999.

Before joining in 2001 Stuart was employed in London from 1984-88 by NM Rothschild & Sons Limited and 1990-2001 by The Equitable Life Assurance Society. As Marketing Director at LCF he has responsibility for marketing and distributing its range of products and services together with identifying prospective clients. He is an Associate of the Securities & Investment Institute.

John started his career with Ernst & Whinney, London and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. After qualifying he moved to the Corporate Finance Department. After 12 years with Ernst & Young he returned to Guernsey and was a member of the team that set up the Channel Islands Stock Exchange. As Head of Listings, he was also a Member of the Market Authority of the Exchange. In 2000 he joined the LCF Rothschild Group as Corporate Finance Director responsible for the corporate finance activities including those of Sponsor on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange. He is a fellow of the Securities & Investment Institute, having completed the Diploma in 2004. Graduating in Property Valuation and Management from The City University London, John has retained an interest in the property sector and has completed the professional examinations of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

John de Garis joined LCF in September 2008 as Chief Investment Officer, following 17 years at Credit Suisse Asset Management in London, where since 2001 he was Head of European and Sterling Fixed Income. Born and raised in Guernsey, John was educated at the Grammar School for Boys and then completed a Higher Diploma in Business and Finance at Richmond College before starting his City career at Provident Mutual in 1987. He later joined MAP Fund Managers where he gained experience managing passive equity funds and when MAP was subsequently bought by Credit Suisse, he began to specialise in fixed income.

Calum joined the LCF Rothschild Group in 2004 as part of the Investment Management team. He is responsible for designing and trading structured products that meet client’s specific risk/return requirements.
Before joining he worked for five years in the offshore banking department of NM Rothschild & Sons (C.I.) Limited as a credit analyst. Calum is a Member of the Securities and Investment Institute.

Richard joined in 1999 as an Investment Manager with key responsibilities being the management of discretionary portfolios and open ended funds. He is also actively involved in the Firm's structured product business. Previously Richard worked for six years in the Offshore Private Banking arm of a large UK retail bank as an investment professional.
He moved to Guernsey in 1992 after graduating from the University of Plymouth with a degree in Business Studies. He is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute, having completed his diploma in 2000.

As Office Manager Ruth carries out a multitude of functions including accounting, administrative and organisational tasks. Ruth has previously worked for the Royal Bank of Canada and NRG Distribution. She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and an Associate of the Securities & Investment Institute.

Carl first joined the LCF Rothschild Group in 2002, working in corporate finance for three years before returning to his native New Zealand. There he worked as a private client discretionary portfolio manager with ANZ National, New Zealand’s largest banking and financial service provider. Upon his recent return to the Channel Islands and LCF, Carl has been working as a manager in the discretionary portfolio team.
